THE MONARCH, CHAKAN
Dedication, understanding, and time all mean so much to us, and We feel very lucky to be able to have a smooth journey of a year at The Monarch, Chakan with all three. We cherish wholeheartedly the diligence of our staff in order to provide great service to our Guests. They could work without any hindrances the whole year due to their supportive families and we are thankful to them as well.
We thought of various ways in which we could celebrate our journey of a year. Different ideas and ways were suggested to celebrate our 1St Anniversary but what struck us the most was the idea of having a Blood Donation Drive on this day. With complete contribution by Mr. Vasantraj Nair, our GM at The Monarch, Chakan, and his team could actually successfully go ahead with it.
On 17th May, in the afternoon hours, a blood donation drive was arranged at The Monarch, Chakan where around 50 people donated blood to help complete this noble task. Participants included people from the staff, corporate guests and even some participants from outside who weren’t even staying with us but still contributed. We all are filled with immense gratitude, pride and satisfaction to have actually given back to the society from our end. Though the celebration was at low scale with no pomp and ceremony, yet grand and gratifying.
Quoting the words of Mother Teresa, ‘It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving matters’ we can aptly relate with it. As the team was super excited to have the blood donation drive and they did put in their heart and soul into it to make it a successful event. We are sure, with this gesture of ours we could help a few lives in the time of need and in turn help humanity at a larger end. As our belief goes by we are always happy to serve and help at the end along with Hospitality Humanity matters.
